CITIx60 Art Print Project
Los Angeles City Map
Randy’s Donuts, the Hollywood Sign, the Watts Towers, the Beverly Hills Hotel, the sandy beaches, the rolling desert mountains and the freeways intersecting and connecting the city like pulsing arteries — this classic American city comes alive in CITIx60 Los Angeles City Map. Displaying a condensed and iconic aerial view of this endlessly fascinating city, Josh Evans’ quirky hand rendered illustration captures LA’s clutter and charisma observed by the lifelong resident of Southern Californian, who loses many hours a day exploring its varied sites and vistas. Tightly stacked modern architecture, designer houses, and manifold activities are all waiting to be discovered in every inch of these art prints in a delightful sunset shade.
Josh Evans‘s style draws on diverse visual narrative traditions from graphic novels to cartoons to illustration. Often times surreal, mundane, silly, and full of detail, his’ work utilises expressionistic line-work and bold colours. Evans is a graduate from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California. His clients include The New York Times, Esquire, Nylon Guys, The Village Voice, PlayBoy Enterprises, and WRAP magazine.
CITIx60 Art Print Project is an extension of CITIx60 City Guide.
