CITIx60 Art Print Project
Hong Kong City Map
Time and space intertwine in CITIx60 Hong Kong City Map just as world culture and traditions mingle in this tiny yet ambitious Asian city. Loud and electric with enviable style, the drawing projects Hong Kong illustrator Vivian Ho’s utopian vision of her birthplace where only fond memories and beautiful things remain. The result is a colourful patchwork of local crafts, childhood games, regional delicacies, Guangdong arts, fables, city features and mixed architecture that every local treasures.
Belonging to the last generation of Hong Kong’s colonial era, Hong Kong native painter Vivian Ho dedicates her art to conserving local culture and her wild imagination with a strong emotional attachment to the past. Ho is schooled at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, US. Her creative mediums comprise figurative oil paintings, charcoal on paper as well as mixed media.
CITIx60 Art Print Project is an extension of CITIx60 City Guide. Hong Kong City Map is specially produced as a creative collaboration for CITIx60: Hong Kong between viction:ary and Vivian Ho, exclusively available on victionary.com. Selected city maps are available as limited fine art prints, numbered and/or signed, following the publication of the city guides.
